The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 has been officially announced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Aspiring candidates can now apply online for CTET Paper I (Primary Level) and Paper II (Upper Primary Level). Here's everything you need to know about the CTET December 2024 exam:

Important Dates:

  • Application Start Date: 17 September 2024
  • Application End Date: 16 October 2024
  • Exam Date: 1 December 2024
  • Correction Window: 21 to 25 October 2024
  • Admit Card Release: Last week of November 2024
  • Result Announcement: Expected by January 2025

CTET Exam Schedule:

  • Paper II (Upper Primary, Classes VI-VIII): 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Paper I (Primary, Classes I-V): 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Application Process:

Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website ctet.nic.in from 17 September to 16 October 2024. Make sure to submit the application before the deadline and pay the required fees.

CTET 2024 Application Fee:

  • General/OBC (NCL):
    • ₹1000 for one paper
    • ₹1200 for both papers
  • SC/ST/PwD:
    • ₹500 for one paper
    • ₹600 for both papers

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for CTET 2024 are divided into two categories:

  1. Primary Level (Classes I-V): Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education (12th grade) along with a relevant diploma such as D.Ed, JBT, B.El.Ed, or B.Ed.
  2. Upper Primary Level (Classes VI-VIII): Candidates must hold a graduation degree and a B.Ed or B.El.Ed qualification.

CTET 2024 Exam Pattern:

The CTET consists of two papers:

  • Paper I (Primary Level): For candidates aiming to teach Classes I-V. Subjects include Child Development, Pedagogy, Languages I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
  • Paper II (Upper Primary Level): For candidates aiming to teach Classes VI-VIII, focusing on child development, pedagogy, and subject-specific content.

Each paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and there will be no negative marking.

Salary for CTET Qualified Teachers:

CTET-qualified teachers can expect the following pay scales based on their roles:

  • Primary Teacher (PRT): ₹35,400 (Basic Pay)
  • Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): ₹44,900 (Basic Pay)
  • Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): ₹47,600 (Basic Pay)

With the addition of allowances like House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Travel Allowance (TA), gross salaries can range from ₹40,000 to ₹53,000, depending on the position.

CTET परीक्षा कराने वाली संस्था CBSE  जिस NCTE गाइड लाइंस के तहत परीक्षा करती है और अपने होम पेज पर उसका उल्लेख भी किया हुआ है | 
In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th JULY, 2011

उस 29 जुलाई 2011 के नोटिफिकेशन में सशोधन हो चुका है और प्राथमिक शिक्षक बनने के लिए टेट लेवल -1 परीक्षा के लिए अब B Ed धारी भी पात्र हैं | 

गजट / राजपत्र नोटिफिकेशन को तत्काल प्रभाव से लागु किया जाता है , ऐसा के वी एस 2011 की भर्ती के मध्य में तत्काल प्रभाव से टेट को लागु करके भी हुआ था , और सभी सरकारी भर्तियों के मध्य में परिवर्तन कर टेट लागु हुआ था |

No. NCTE-Regl 012/16/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 23 of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. 2009 (35 of 2009) and in pursuance of notification number S.O. 750(E), dated the 31st March, 2010 issued by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) hereby makes the following further amendments to the notification number F.N. 61-03/20/2010/NCTE/(N&S), dated the 23rd August, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part III, Section 4, dated the 25th August, 2010, hereinafter referred to as the said notification namely:— (1) In the said notification, in para 1 in sub-para (i), in clause (a) after the words and brackets “Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), the following shall be inserted, namely:- OR “Graduation with at least 50 % marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)” 2. In the said notification in para 3, for sub-para(a), the following sub-para shall be substituted namely:- “(a) who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher”. CBSE to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on Sept 18

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the examination date for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).


New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the examination date for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET).



The CBSE will conduct the CTET exams on September 18, 2016.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the CTET to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.

The interested candidates can submit the online application for till July 18.

CTET is necessary for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. Candidates can apply only online for CTET-SEPT 2016 on CTET website – www.ctet.nic.in

Submission of pnline application 22.06.2016 to 18.07.2016

Last Date for submission of fee through E-challan or Debit/Credit Card 19.07.2016 (before 3:30 PM)

Final status of candidates-check status and particulars of candidates whose fees received 20.07.2016

Period for On-line Corrections in Particulars (no correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date) 20.07.2016 to 25.07.2016

Download Admit Card from CTET website 17.08.2016

Paper-II will be held on 18.09.2016 - 09:30 to 12:00 hours 2:30 hours

Paper-I will be held on 18.09.2016 - 14:00 to 16:30 hours 2:30 hours

The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools,

etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT’s of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli,

Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi.

CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the exam date for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2016. The exam is scheduled to be held on September 18. 

The candidates can check the detailed schedule here:

Schedule:

Submission of online application: June 22 to July 18
Last date for submission of fee through e-challan or debit/credit card: July 19 (Before 3:30 pm)
Final status of candidates-check status & particulars of candidates whose fees received: July 20
Period of online corrections in particulars (No correction will be allowed in any particulars after this date): July 20 to July 25
Downloading of admit card from CTET website: August 17
Declaration of results: Second week of November
Date of examination: June 18
Paper: Paper -II (9:30 to 12 noon)
           Paper- I (2 pm to 4:30 pm)

About CTET:

The CTET shall apply to schools of the central government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and schools under the administrative control of UT's of Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi
CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may use the option of considering the CTET
Schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET, conducted by the state government. However, a state government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the state TET.

MUMBAI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2016 on September 18.
The announcement was made on the CTET website. According to the website, in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th JULY, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.

सीटेट की परीक्षा आज, तैयारी पूरी

राज्य ब्यूरो, इलाहाबाद

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद (सीबीएसई) की ओर से देश भर के परिषदीय विद्यालयों में शिक्षक बनने की योग्यता परीक्षा सीटीईटी इस बार इलाहाबाद के 28 केंद्रों पर होगी। पहली पाली की परीक्षा सुबह साढ़े नौ बजे से 12 बजे तक होगी। इसमें सीनियर बेसिक स्कूलों के शिक्षकों के लिए आवेदन करने वाले अभ्यर्थी शामिल होंगे, दूसरी पाली की परीक्षा दोपहर दो बजे से शाम साढ़े चार बजे तक होगी। इसमें प्राइमरी के टीचर्स के पदों के लिए आवेदन करने वाले अभ्यर्थी शामिल होंगे। क्षेत्रीय अधिकारी ने बताया कि परीक्षा की पारदर्शिता बनाए रखने के लिए परीक्षा केंद्रों पर सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम भी किए गए हैं

CBSE CTET 2016: Now aspiring teachers can download the admit card from ctet.nic.in

The exam will be held on Feb 21.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)and candidates can now download the e-admit card from the official website. The CTET is scheduled to be held on February 21. The exam has two papers: Paper 1 for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for those who want to each classes 6 to 8.
The official website said: "In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 and 29th JULY, 2011 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.

The rationale for including the TET as a minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher is as under:
It would bring national standards and benchmark of teacher quality in the recruitment process;
It would induce teacher education institutions and students from these institutions to further improve their performance standards;
It would send a positive signal to all stakeholders that the Government lays special emphasis on teacher quality
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi."

1) Visit the offical website 
2) Click the link 'Download Admit Card'
3) Submit necessary details, the e-admit card will be displayed
4) Submit the necessary details, the e-admit card will be displayed. 
5) Take a print-out for future reference.
